About Me

Hello dear reader & welcome!

I am an art historian, curator, and writer based in New York City. I hold an MLIS from Pratt Institute, and MA in Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture from the Bard Graduate Center, and a BA in Art History from Hunter College/CUNY. My path to the arts has been anything but conventional—but it’s all part of the story.

I first came to New York with dreams of being an actress and, in a way, I made it to Broadway—bartending at the Shubert theatres for four years. That chapter introduced me to extraordinary people and unforgettable performances (Roxie Hart is still my dream role!). I later worked in the beauty industry managing salons and spas, until I fell fully in love with art history.

I spent many years working with some of New York’s most iconic cultural institutions, including the Morgan Library & Museum, The Met, and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. At the Morgan, I led The Morgan Book Project—an extraordinary program that combined historical book arts, public exhibitions, and hands-on learning with traditional materials like gold leaf and natural pigments. I’ve also taught courses at Parsons, NYSID, Pratt, and Sotheby’s Institute of Art, and am now shifting my focus more fully to curatorial and editorial work—particularly around rare books, visual storytelling, and exhibition publishing.

My latest endeavor is Woman with a Baguette, a poetic blend of French culture, art, and travel. It’s part blog, part daydream—a place where Parisian rooftops and quiet elegance is the unspoken language. My heart lives partly in Paris, and until I can join it there full-time, I’ll be sharing little glimpses of the life I’m creating, one baguette at a time. Until then, please enjoy my love letters to La Ville Lumière...

À bientôt!
